Chester has been a CFI for over 40 years and has taught thousands of pilots. Chester also flew for American Airlines for 35 years and has expertise in transport category aircraft, business commuters, and hundreds of general aviation aircraft. When he’s not flying, Chester loves travelling with his wife Meryl.

Mia has been flying for 4 years and accomplished most of her training at Sky Trails Aviation. Now, she serves as our Assistant Chief Instructor. Her favorite time is spent instructing in our tailwheel & float planes. She hopes to fly the C130 or the 802F Fireboss for Cal-Fire someday.

Madie is a 3rd generation pilot and has been surrounded by aviation her whole life. She accomplished all of her training at the Auburn Airport. She has aspirations to become dual rated in rotorcraft and would like to fly airtankers for Cal-Fire. Her favorite flights are trips with friends to get a scenic “sweet treat”.
