Advanced Flight Training
Multi-Engine / MEI / ATP
Take the next step toward a professional flying career. For most aspiring professional pilots, earning a multi-engine rating is an essential milestone and there’s no better aircraft to do it in than our Diamond DA42. Equipped with a Garmin G1000 glass cockpit, capable autopilot, FADEC engine management, and efficient Jet-A powered engines, the DA42 is one of the safest and most technologically advanced multi-engine training aircraft available today.
Our experienced instructors have successfully prepared hundreds of applicants for their practical exams and know exactly what it takes to succeed. Through our established relationships with local Designated Pilot Examiners (DPEs), we maintain consistent access to checkride availability, helping you complete your training efficiently without unnecessary delays. Combined with competitive pricing, you don’t have to choose between affordability and training in one of the industry’s premier multi-engine aircraft
A Commercial Multi-engine add-on has no strict hour requirement, and is based on student proficiency and readiness. The average time to complete a multi-engine rating is 10-15 hours. We also offer an accelerated Part 141 multi-engine course that can be completed in a minimum of 11.5 hours.
An Multi-engine Instructor (MEI) requires 15 hours of PIC in multi-engine aircraft. Using Sky Trails “block rate” discount, this can be accomplished quickly and cost-efficiently.
